Photos: Ghanaian lady who was brutally beaten by recruitment officers in Kuwait rescued
A Ghanaian lady identified as Elizabeth
Owusu Ansah was beaten by the recruitment office that brought her
to Jeleeb, Kuwait. Elizabeth was seriously sick but the office thought she
was lying. She was beaten and sacked from the office. They even threatened
to report her to the police for being sick.
However, a Ghanaian group in Kuwait (GIK) immediately intervened and retrieved her passport from the office. They bought a return ticket for her and sent her back to Ghana on Tuesday, January 19.
