David Beckham Wins 2013 GQ Most Stylish Man Of The Year

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid player, David Beckham has been named Most stylish Man of the Year at the 15th Annual GQ Men of the Year Awards in Berlin Germany on Thursday night. Beckham’s evolving style has perhaps won him as much attention as his footballing prowess down the years.

The 38 year old most stylish athlete arrived at the city’s Komishe Oper in a smart two piece suit, stark white shirt and a pencil tie looking forever dapper. GQ editor-in-chief, José Redondo Vega says no one else has managed to bridge the gap between style and sport like the former Man United star.

“Like no other athlete, David Beckham represents style and fashion influence” said Vega, “with his trends
getting sometimes daring appearances, he has created a bridge between the world of design, models and photographers and the world of world-class sports, and brought glamour back to a male sport,” He ended.
